As I’m sitting here typing today, I have Aiden in his usual play area. (We are actually using our “formal” dining room area as his play space. Not so formal, hunh!) Anyways, he has all of these toys sprawled out all across the floor, yet he goes over to one specific item that is not even a toy.
What is it?
Well, it just so happens to be the box that his diapers came out of. REALLY?! Can someone please tell me the point of us spending any money on toys when he’s just going to play in the box! CRAZINESS! This isn’t the 1st time he’s done this either. When he was initially discovering that he had feet, he would just want to play with them instead of his toys or even, (GASP) me! I’m sure all of the parents can agree with me that children will decide to play with the most random things and now that this is finally sinking in with me, I guess I will just sit back and enjoy this funny time. I mean, at least while he’s in the box he can’t tear anything else in the house up. See, there’s a bright side to everything!
Note: Yes, I helped Aiden into the box as you see in the picture below, and no I will not be taking requests from anyone about me shipping him to them! Lol!
