Semi-Wordless Wednesday: Growing Up

I know you all have probably noticed my recent theme of talking about Mr. A growing up a lot lately. Bear with me, it’s only a couple more weeks of it, maybe. Hey, give me a break, my little guy is turning 2 at the end of the month, so I’ve found myself watching him with those mushy feelings of “Where did the time go?”

For instance, his dad and I had family time at the park last week. Normally, when I take him by myself, he just climbs up and slides down the little slide like he did in the video I posted last week. But this time was different. I watched proudly and in shock as my little guy climbed up the stairs and went through every piece of that playground, all by himself. I remembered when he used to need my help but now that he’s growing up that independent streak is starting to break free. Of course, he still sticks his little hand out for our help every now & then but this day at the park showed me that slowly & steadily he’s learning how to do things on his own more and more. :)

Climbing up the stairs on the playground

Crawling through the tunnel

It's sliding time!

"Yes, Mommy I can do all of this by myself!" ;)

I know! It’s going by way too fast for me! And thank you! He tries to use that smile to his advantage on numerous occasions! Lol!

Thank you! Mr. A & Lil’ J are definitely not babies anymore. They’re like 2 little men now! ;) And thanks for the linky!
